A small little known company called Aytu Bioscience develops rapid point of care 2-10 minute test kits for the 2019 novel coronavirus which has been spreading at a rapid pace, last night Colorado sparks interest in Aytu Bioscience.
Yesterday the Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis was made known to Aytu Bioscience when a reporter asked him about these tests that take 2-10 minutes to return accurate test results for the coronavirus.
The people of Colorado has become frustrated about coronavirus testing has the Government has now raised a few options, Rob Low reports.
Testing is too long the people said, they wait in their cars for hours with the line barely moving. This turned into frustration and now they’re looking for other options of testing. Luckily Aytu Bioscience is the answer.
Aytu Bioscience’s (AYTU) Test
Aytu Bioscience’s simple finger pricking blood test takes a minimum of 2 minutes and with short returning results, this can easily be applied to drive through testing.
Another possibility is that People can easily self-administer the test. This opens doors to take-home testing and even partnering with Amazon to help ship these tests using Amazon Prime.
Aytu Bioscience’s product is so flexible and would be highly beneficial to states that accept the company’s test kits.
Aytu Bioscience’s (AYTU) Future
The company has secured exclusive distribution rights in the United States and has since been sparking large amounts of interest for their 2-10 minute coronavirus test.
Just hours ago, the company has planned to expand it’s distribution rights to Canada and Mexico, this is a huge move and shows how large the interest is. The press release states that it expands Aytu’s commercial rights and grants Aytu the right to distribute and commercialize the COVID-19 test in North America, specifically including the United States, Canada and Mexico.
